Thank-you for the great stay in room #7! on Sat. 10/10/09.  We only had one night but it felt like longer.  I only live about 25 min away in Port Orange, didn't want to go far, but still needed that vacation feel.  The place we were going to stay at was full (thank-you god) and I thought we would drive on A1A, I passed quite a few places but didn't really get that vibe.  Then I found this place!  It is so laid back, away from the busy section and just feels right.  I was with my daughters age 2 and 9 and our family dog.  The owners sister said there was no charge for children and pets, I almost died!  Then she showed me the room, I was elated! My daughter loved the ladder to the top bed in a little hid away loft area, it had a bed underneath and then another full trendle bed under that!  The rooms seem bigger than they look.  I can't believe how comfortable it was, with a nice sofa, cute table & chairs, flatscreen TV, fan, tiled shower, etc...  The property is great with the intracoastal in the backyard, artisian spring bath (did not use) Tiki area.  Right across the street---THE BEACH--the most beautiful beach!  I can't believe they let you use the kayaks for free and use the bbq and kitchen Tiki.  There is a nice restaurant close though, the Turtle shack, great blackened grouper sandwich/ salad/ shrimp/ chicken fingers.  I'm planning our next mini vacation sooner than later.  I really appreciate the whole experience and feel rejevenated in many ways.  The pictures are nice but does not do justice to the whole place. Today is my fathers birthday. He died in December.

He loved walking on the beach& loved the Atlantic Ocean.

I wanted to spend his birthday here. So many things I was able 2 go & do in my real life. this place continues 2 be amazing.

I hope i make enough $ to come back for a few weeks in December!!!

My home away from home! even though Bekka and I slept on the beach to watch the sunrise, comming back to take a nap, driving home today,see you next week!
